Behind the Scenes: Summer 2015
Some readers of this blog have attended my annual May exhibition of recent work. Over the course of each year, I hold on to the pieces I feel to be my strongest works, with the intention of releasing and exhibiting them in an exhibit each May. Since this past May's show, my usual routine of painting each day has continued. I make a conscious effort to balance my time between painting "spontaneous" work and "planned" work.
