Man In Blue

Hey friends! Here's a new figurative piece hitting the market, featuring a former Richmond Ballet member turned City of Richmond police officer. I painted Officer Ben twice in his prior life as a dancer, and it was quite interesting to paint him in the uniform of his new persona. I'm calling the painting Man In Blue. You may remember a recent newsletter where I shared the genesis of this project.

Head study in progress a couple of weeks ago. This model was hired by an artist friend, and we painted him in her studio, enjoying each other's company while practicing our craft.

Thanks for reading! That's all for now, but if you have any questions or comments, drop me a line.

All the best,
