Richmond Ballet company dancer Phillip Skaggs was my subject for this painting, created in conjunction with the "Hang Five" exhibit in March of 2013. The concept behind our exhibit was artists honoring other art forms, so I wanted to make that concept literal, and show what essentially is an autobiographical piece about the painting of this fantastic performer.
