Seated Study of Bryce began as a live painting session in my studio in 2016, but during the Covid pandemic of 2020, I pulled it from a huge stacks of studies and assessed it with fresh eyes. I did not have models in my studio during this period, so I used the time to revisit unfinished work from pre-pandemic model sessions. Bryce required only a couple touch-ups.
